Rajul Shah is an artist based in Singapore and Director of Zubaadhi Studio & Gallery.

Rajul is an international mixed-media artist whose work engenders respite and renewal from the chaos of daily life. Her art is a fusion of the ancient art of kintsugi and the spiritual energy of the Chakras. Using the Auras associated with each chakra, Rajul’s art tells stories of “renewal” and “resilience” through abstract expressions of color.

Kintsugi is a metaphor for the human journey. Like cracks in Pottery that need repair, we too have imperfect life experiences that require repair and healing.

Chakras are energy centers in the human body. We have 7 chakras from the base of our spine to the crown of our head. Each chakra is responsible for the energy of the nervous system related to the area of its location.

Together, these two concepts encourage healing, regeneration and renewal.
